INTEGRATING NEUROSCIENCE & EDUCATION
Every student needs to be SEEN in order to truly SHINE
Neuroscience research indicates that the developing brain is more plastic and adaptable than it will ever be. This remarkable neuroplasticity, spanning early childhood, adolescence, and young adulthood, presents an extraordinary opportunity for educational institutions to nurture the growth and potential of every student. Alongside this opportunity comes the responsibility to equip educators, leaders, and learners with the knowledge and tools to harness this potential effectively.
Educational neuroscience is an interdisciplinary field dedicated to translating the science of human learning into practical strategies that enhance the health, well-being, and academic success of learners at every stage of their educational journey.
The mission of SEEN (Social & Emotional Educational-Neuroscience) is to advance human learning, growth, and well-being by translating neuroscience insights into educational designs and practices.
SEEN provides professional development for educators, administrators, and academic leaders, focusing on designing teaching strategies that align with how the brain learns best. Grounded in neuroscience and evidence-based principles, SEEN addresses topics like Brain Plasticity and Growth Mindset, Memory and Executive Functions, Neurodiversity, Empathy, Resilience, Mental Health, Motivation, Creativity, and Narrative Formation.
